How long does an inspection take?
A typical inspection should take 2 hours to complete.
This can vary, given the current condition, size of the home, and the accessibility of mechanical systems.
What do you look at?
We inspect the major systems of the house. This includes the roof, exterior, foundation, electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, insulation, and interior. Please see Scope Of Inspections for a detailed break down of what to execpt.
Our goal is to identify any existing major costly and distruptive problems that would affect a typical buyer's decision to purchase.
What are your payment options?
We accept the following payment methods:
Payment Method using Square Payment.

Do I need to be there for the inspection?
You are not required to be there for the inspection but we do encourage you to attend at the very end for personal walk-though.
If you cannot attend at the end of the inspection-no problem! I will call you if I find anything costly and distruptive.
The inspection report is very detailed along with illistration and photos of any defect. This will help give a visulization for clearity and understanding.
Do you offer Contrators Inspections?
Yes, if you are obtaining work from a contractor and question there intention, quality of work or lack of work, I can and will inspect the work order for quality and completion.
If you require a second opinion on work order I can review and help determine what work is reasonable or excessive.
Can I ask questions?
Yes. You can bring your questions that you have regarding the home.
We do our best to go through your inspection in an easy-to-understand manner when complete during your walk through.
Is Priority Home Inspections in Prince George licensed and certified?
Yes, Priority Home Inspections works in Prince George , Vanderhoof, Fort Saint Jame, Fort Fraser, Fraser Lake and Burns Lake. I also do the remote areas within those forrest districts.
It is import to varify your inspector is licensed through Consumer Protection BC.
What should I look for when searching for an inspector?
Look for experience, proper licensing, good reviews, and ask about their inspection process and the tools they use.
Real Estates recommnedations can be bias; based on minimizing defects, pressure to purchase and not adhearing to privacy with respects to report writing.
An inspector should be very transparent, non alarming and is client focused.
Are apartments and condos necessary to inspect?
Yes, apartment condo Inspections are highly recommended to understand the condition of the unit and potential issues before making a purchase.
